I want to foster kittens

Our dedicated network of foster carers nurture kittens until they are ready to be placed in their forever home or returned to the Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre to await adoption. 

Our foster carers look after orphaned kittens needing to be hand reared (known as neonates) as well as mother cats with litters.

Step 2. Meet with a staff member

If we think you might be suitable to foster kittens, you’ll be invited to an online or in person interview with a Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre staff member. This is an informal meeting so that we can get to know you and your living environment as well as discuss any concerns you might have. 

Step 3. Meet your foster kittens

If your application is approved, we’ll deliver your foster kittens to your home along with your starter pack. We’ll advise you on the best food for your kittens and answer any final questions you might have.
